Hi Everyone,
Interesting image right? I took that picture at Harrods, when I was in London last December. To me it evoked feelings of sensuality, beauty and abundance. I wanted to dine at that Jimmy Choo table, regardless of price. The outer world reflected my inner desire to experience those feelings and delight my senses.
When I look at that image, even now, I get a sense of the space and luxury that was created by that dining room setting. What do you feel when you look at that picture? Notice those feelings and you will realize that the outer world affects your inner world. You might also notice that your inner world – emotional and mental state – affect whether you believe you can create an outer reality like that for yourself, or your own version of beauty and abundance that may not be about anything materialistic (let alone a shoe fettish).
I urge you to take time today to think about how much your physical world influences your internal mental, emotional and spiritual world.
Our external environments are often subconscious statements to the world about where we’re at psychologically. If you change the internals you can then be motivated to change the externals and conversely, if you change the externals you can be motivated to change your internals.
So how do you feel about your personal physical living spaces – your home, office, bedroom, kitchen, garage or yard? Every little corner of your life has relevance and impacts your holistic being. How much love do you give to your personal living spaces? Is your home your sanctuary or just “shelter”? How welcoming of romantic love is your bedroom? How much do you allow clutter to accumulate with unnecessary material possessions? Your physical space can inspire you, relax you, worry you or depress you. These things impact the quality of your life and the outcomes you have in your life.
