HOW TO OVERCOME FOOD ADDICTION AND IMPROVE YOUR BODY IMAGE

If misdiagnosed or untreated, food addiction can affect you on every level – your body image, mental well-being, social and emotional interactions, the list goes on.

From age seven, I suffered with a food addiction and poor body image. It’s the reason I chose to study food addiction and make it a focus of my practice. And it’s why I’m sharing my insights with you now.

Through personalised coaching sessions, we will work together to identify the root causes of your food addiction, develop strategies to manage triggers and cravings, and create a plan for long-term recovery. I will provide you with the support, guidance, and accountability you need to overcome your addiction and build a healthier relationship with food.

My approach is not about restriction or deprivation, but about finding balance and joy in food and life. Whether you’re dealing with emotional eating, binge eating, or other forms of food addiction, I am committed to helping you break free from the cycle and create a sustainable, healthy lifestyle.

If you’re ready to take the first step towards a healthier, happier life, let’s connect! I can start you on your own road to discovery, healing and recovery.

WHAT IS CONSCIOUS WEIGHT LOSS?

Many of us attempt weight loss by trying to strip kilos from our body without any understanding or awareness of the real reasons the weight is there in the first place.

Some weight gain occurs after a short period of self-indulgence. It can result in negative body image which can often be overcome with diet or exercise. However, most hard-to-shift weight is due to a psychological need that is being met and/or a series of behaviours that have become habitual and difficult to interrupt. These behaviours can include things like binge eating, stress eating and emotional eating. In some cases, the weight is a symptom of food addiction or abuse.

Conscious weight loss is where we assess and understand the roots of our weight issue and then employ the appropriate psychological and behavioural strategies to address this accurately. This gives the best chance for long-term success.
